The thing I've learned

Hi Reader,

I want to share something that took me a long time to fully trust, even though I've believed it for years.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to health.

I know that sounds simple, maybe even obvious. But when you've spent nearly 30 years watching what the wellness industry produces, the diets, the protocols, the programs that promise everything and quietly disappear, you start to understand how radical that statement actually is. Because almost everything being sold to women right now is built on the opposite premise.

When I first started practising as a naturopath, what I was taught as evidence-based best practice looks almost nothing like what the evidence tells us today. The recommendations have changed. The consensus has shifted. Things I was taught with certainty are now understood very differently. And that experience, watching the science evolve and sometimes reverse completely, has made me a more careful practitioner, a more humble one, and a much more curious one.

It's also shaped the way I work with the women in my world.

I don't tell people what to eat. I don't prescribe protocols or push particular approaches because I believe mine is the right one. What I do is share the evidence where it's strong, share what I've observed over decades, share my own health story where it's relevant, and then support women to make the decisions that feel right for their own body and their own life.

Because real, lasting change doesn't come from following someone else's rules. It comes from understanding your own body well enough to know what it needs, and having the simple systems and support to actually do it consistently, not perfectly, but consistently.

That's the foundation everything inside the Well Nourished Family membership is built on. Not a program to follow perfectly, but a flexible, trustworthy place to keep coming back to, with naturopathic guidance woven through everything, and a system that holds when life gets messy.

If you'd like that kind of support for your family, I'd love to welcome you in. You can find all the details HERE.

RECIPES | WELLNESS HUB | HEALTHY KIDS | SHOP Hi Reader, I want to tell you about something I've been working on behind the scenes, and if you've been following along for a while, you'll understand why I'm so excited about it. But first, a quick personal update, because I think it's relevant to what I'm about to share. As some of you know, I had a knee replacement recently after years of living with a malformed knee joint. It's a fairly big surgery and I went into it having done everything I...

RECIPES | WELLNESS HUB | HEALTHY KIDS | SHOP Hi Reader, The other day I stopped scrolling at a woman who claimed to be 68 but looked about 40 max. No obvious signs of surgery, fillers, or filters, just flawless, timeless skin. She sold a supplement stack she said had "reverse aged" her. I showed my son and he said, "Duh Mum, that's AI." 🙄 When I looked into the account I was genuinely astounded by the reach and level of engagement it had. And since stopping there, the algorithm has been...

RECIPES | WELLNESS HUB | HEALTHY KIDS | SHOP Hi Reader, Everyone's talking about protein right now, and honestly, for good reason, it matters enormously for energy, blood sugar stability, muscle health and keeping hunger at bay. But in all the noise around protein, it's easy to forget that fibre and healthy fats are just as important for long-term health, and that real nourishment comes from getting the balance right, not just hitting a single number. That's why every recipe inside the Well...
